This 16-unit apartment building was purchased in January 2012 for a total project cost of $2.2 million. A Government of Alberta grant covered $1,614,747 and a private donation from David Bissett covered $123,000. Residents are low-income women transferring from Mary Dover House or other homeless-serving agencies. There is an agreement with the YWCA of Calgary for resident referrals, income testing, supports and community building.
