Answer: Yes, parents must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, and their children must be 6 years old or younger.

arrow Must I be a single parent to become a Homespace resident?
 

Answer: Yes, you must be both single and a parent.

arrow I'm concerned about my safety and that of my children. Can Homespace keep us safe?

Answer: Families may reside at Homespace for up to 24 months.

arrow I don't have a High School diploma. Will Homespace help me get my GED?
 

Answer: Yes, ensuring that graduates of Homespace receive their GED is one of our highest priorities, and critical to enabling graduates access to the job market.

arrow What do I do with my pre-school children while I'm receiving education, life skills or vocational training?
 

Answer: Homespace provides child activity care while parents participate in life skills and workshops at Homespace. While you are in education, job training or other programming through an education program, Department of Social Services or your employment, you must provide your own day care. Homespace will help you to apply for day care assistance through the local Department of Social Services and guide you in choosing a day care facility that is appropriate for you and your children’s needs.

arrow Will Homespace help me find a job?
 

Answer: Yes, that is one of the many services we provide. While we can't guarantee you a job, we will give you access to public and private job search facilities and services.

arrow When I move into Homespace, can I have visitors?
 

Answer: Yes, however no overnight visitors are allowed.
