Homespace is about helping young parents become good parents and self-sufficient members of the community.

Homespace Corporation has several committees to assist the Board of Directors and Executive Director in administering the important work carried out at Homespace Corporation. Homespace committees are chaired by members of the Board of Directors, but are also served by non-Board member community members that bring their expertise to our organization.

Budget and Finance:
This committee oversees all financial and insurance matters and recommends the annual budget to the Board.

Financial Development:
This committee is responsible for raising funds for both operational expenses and special one-time needs associated with Homespace Corporation and Second Chance Home through special events, mail campaigns and annual outreach.

Public Relations:
This committee develops and implements plans to ensure that Homespace Corporation attracts the attention of our members, constituents, potential funders and the general public. This committee is responsible for drafting and issuing Homespace Corporation's press releases, interfacing with the media on Homespace Corporation's behalf, and assisting in the publication of our quarterly newsletter and Annual Report.

Property & Grounds:
This committee provides oversight on the care and upkeep of our properties and recommends capital improvements when needed. It also seeks and reviews bids on all major work in order to recommend appropriate vendors for specific projects.

Program:
This committee reviews program operations, quality assurance, and volunteer development programs. It recommends program policy changes, as needed, to ensure continued improvement in all areas.

Personnel:
This committee develops and maintains personnel policies and procedures for Homespace Corporation’s transitional housing and the Second Chance Home. The committee also drafts, reviews and revises job descriptions, provides salary and benefits administration, and oversees employee recruitment.
